We work mostly B2B with businesses involved in MOTION IMAGING rather than with individuals. We help mostly SME (Small or Medium sized Enterprises) in Southern Ontario who are facing challenges in profiting from innovation. Within low-cost travel distance (Toronto, Montreal etc.) we provide direct hands-on, in-person consulting and contract technical work. For clients further afield in the USA, Europe, Asia etc. we often communicate and do R&D business remotely via email, phone, fax and data shipments to minimize travel costs for clients. Clients are typically Director/VP level in organizations, Associate Dean/Coordinator level in colleges, and Producer/Director/DOP level in film and video production work, although we are open to helping you at any level.
We consult on a contract basis with both institutional (non-profit) and commercial businesses. Most of our clients have been in business for at least five years and use Film, Video and Computer Imaging, and serve global markets for at least 50% or more of their business. We specialize in the LF (Large Format) film market and in stereoscopic 3D display technology and related imaging fields such as Virtual Reality and simulation - both for education and entertainment markets. We cover the spectrum from concept & early planning to manufacture, testing and production. Annual revenues of typical clients range from 300K$ to 30M$ or more, but larger organizations are welcome. We prefer people who use open but informal management styles to achieve excellence.
We also help Filmmakers and Production companies with a strong drive for excellence who recognize the need for innovation. Many have strong track records in 15p70 filmmaking, but face challenges in funding and filming their projects in new and exciting, but cost effective ways. Some need specialized help in special camera accessories or filming situations, such as 3D, CGI, VFX or hostile environments. Often our clients are leaders in their field, although we also work occasionally with start-up high tech companies setting out to make their mark in Motion Imaging, who need help in raising funding or demonstrating quick wins. We also have a strong interest in working with University and College professors and researchers involved in motion imaging R&D, who may require closer links with industry partners to assist in getting government research funding.
